I co...I just made a big batch of stuffed cabbages. I completely resonate with your post. My Polish mom, aunties, and Busia all made stuffed cabbage with Campbell's tomato soup. I just can't do that, so I made my own fresh knock-off soup with vine ripe tomatoes with some low sodium canned tomatoes. Used a mix of ground sirloin and pork steak from the butcher which I ground in the food processor for the stuffing. Substituted barley for rice (better for you!) I have a pan in the fridge, another one in the freezer and some extra sauce for Christmas, a couple other pyrex containers to give to my dad. My brother just ate a big plate with mashed potatoes.
