Is Fox a news channel?

Fox News has clearly demonstrated that they are a political action group. They should not be treated or viewed by anyone as a News Organization. Please watch this video..... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=o3LUid0IZ2w&feature=topvideos

What do you think?

I've tried watching MSNBC and they are basically the same with the spin rotating in the opposite direction. Fox is just a bit more ambitious at maintaining their spin. Neither are really a good source of unbiased information. Bring back the oldtimers.

To Mike Roach - so in your mind neither MSNBC or Fox are really news? I don't watch either one, but, MSNBC seems to at least try to be a news source whereas Fox is always putting a big spin on. Maybe that is the way I should say it. Fox is spinning faster than MSNBC. Makes me dizzy!

I'm not saying that they are not really news networks. They are there to supply the news of the world as well as domestic and they do perform that service. I am saying that there are programs on each of the networks that are severely biased. I do watch them both when I don't have anything else to do. Each have programs where the news is presented based on the events that are happening. There are also programs that include a host, be it Glenn Beck or Rachel Maddow, who are there to put a spin on the events that have taken place.
I suppose it was a bit rash of me to say that neither were really good sources of unbiased information. One must be selective on the programs that they watch on each of the two networks.

I agree with you on being selective. You can watch and be selective on what you process as facts. Good comment.....
